Dynamic Transformation of Objects Typical Building under Renovation

Abstract. In the article the issues of dynamic transformation of typical buildings and constructions have been considered at the first time. Modern trends of towns and cities development place architects, urban planners and engineers before the most difficult tasks that are connected with the upgrade, conversion, alteration, improvement and reconstruction of architectural objects, located on the territory, which is studied and analyzed. Urgent problems of strategic urban development directly reflect all the issues that are related to the architectural and urban development, ideological and artistic and historical transformation of objects of typical building undergoing reconstruction. New conditions and approaches in architecture reflect the new features with which it is possible to improve and update not only the aesthetic appearance of the city, but also to introduce modern approaches, which allow to give types of buildings and structures greater expressiveness and functionality. Referring to the above, the authors place themselves before one of the most unexplored and at the same time demanded tasks of the dynamic transformation of typical buildings and structures, which in modern conditions of development of urban areas undergo reconstruction.

Design for Needs of Handicapped Groups of the Population in Focus of Attention of the Academic Science: Experience of the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture

Abstract. Article is devoted to a problem of improvement of conditions of activity and rehabilitation of handicapped groups of the population in the cities of the Donetsk Region. Convenience of social and medical care of handicapped groups of the population in the cities of Donetsk, Makeevka, Shakhtersk, Ilovaysk, Gorlovka and others is investigated by authors. The corresponding conclusions about need of reconstruction of social infrastructure of these cities taking into account specific needs of disabled people are drawn. The attention to opportunities and expediency of use of historical, cultural, natural and landscape capacity of the Donetsk Region in the medical and rehabilitation purposes is focused. The main directions of scientific work of scientists of regions higher education institution in the field of design for needs of handicapped groups of the population are formulated.

Town Planning Aspects of Data Center Processing on the Exhausted Coal Mines

Abstract. In the article the town-planning aspects of data storage and processing centers have been given. The authors suggest practical aspects of their placement on the territory of exhausted coal mines. The subject line has a dual feasibility. On the one hand coal mine area quite promising for the creation of modern data centers and has great potential, the use of which will reduce the cost in their construction and operation. On the other – the organization of data centers on the basis of exhausted coal mining companies can provide support for single-industry towns. Arguments, which allow the idea of the placement of data center in the exhausted coal industry structures to consider promising and requires further study, have been proved.

Abstract. The article sums up the experience of studying the regional features of architecture and urban planning of Donbass in scientific research, design practice, creative work and in training of specialists in the faculty of architecture of DonNACEA. In different periods of time the following researches have been worked out in the range of fields: the history of architecture and urban planning of the region, taking into account different stages and types of objects; architectural and urban development of disrupted areas and areas having rough mining and geological conditions; energy efficiency, energy saving, green technologies in architecture of the region; renovation of non-operated factories areas; architecture of objects of the miners health care system; humanization of architectural space of the regional industrial cities taking into account the needs of people with limited mobility; reconstruction, improvement of architectural concepts of civil and industrial buildings and structures under conditions of the region; research of the influence of national cultures of major groups of population, historical and cultural features, subcultures of town-forming branches in architecture and urban planning of the region. The results of these researches have been approved in term, graduation and competitive design projects. The examples of regional features understanding have been provided in design practice and creative work of the architectural design department staff members and the graduates of DonNACEA faculty of architecture.
