Abstract: This material is based on a large bulk of design and construction data. Various types of bearing steel structures are under consideration. The most economical structural systems are determined. They are as follows: steel-framed structures, trusses of grand span, concrete-steel composite cross-frames. These results can be used for practical utilization in industrial and civil engineering.

Keywords: bearing constructions of industrial buildings, design schemes of buildings, space rigidity of frames, loading on a coverage, light steelworks, steel-reinforced concrete structures.
