Сultural sight objects of the central part of Donetsk city: the extent estimation of their accessibility to physically restricted people

Abstract: The paper is devoted to the problem research of availability of cultural sight city objects accessibility elderly for people and senile age, invalids of various medical categories (the blind, people with disordered support movable and poor sight). The authors concentrate the ablention to the essential role of given objects in the vital activity and invalids rehabilitations and also in their social contacts stimulation with the basic part of society. The paper emphasizes an importance of specific invalids on the various stages of designing, construction and operation of cultural sight objects of the city. The potential opportunities of adaptation in the new conditions of some already developed types of buildings which have not been adapted for these categories of population considered. On the basis of the location research and public opinion results, the conclusion is made as for necessity and expedience of carrying out of the range planning and constructive-and-technical activities aimed to the adaptation of these buildings types of and constructions to provide their accessibility for the given categories of population.
