Influence of mixing technology and fiber4reinforced concrete structure to its durability and shrinkage

Annotation: In the article the results of researches of influencing of technology of interfusion of fibrous concrete on longevity of material are resulted. Fibrous concrete, prepared in a mixer with a flexible corps has highest indexes of durability. Fiber concrete compositions reinforced by waste products of cord, polypropylene and glass fibers based on Portland and expanded cement have been used during experiments. It has been found out that fiber concrete resistance changes in process of time. It depends on mixing method, kind of dispersed reinforcement and astringent. Optimal characteristics of compositions prepared in flex mixer. Compositions prepared in flex mixer have the best results, compositions prepared in mixer using engineered machine for fiber feeding and in gravitational mixer with added rotor. Use of traditional gravitational mixer doesn’t provide production of quality intimate mixture. Researches have demonstrated that fiber concrete made of Portland cement, reinforced by cord waste materials has worst degrees according to resistance in two years of keeping. Main cause of such bad results is void structure of matrix. Glass-fiber reinforced concrete based on NC, prepared in flex mixer has the least shrinkage properties and the highest strength degrees. Compositions based on expanded cement with polypropylene fibers have good results, tension strength during flexure of compositions based on Portland cement independent from method of preparation back off in process of time.
