Abstract: The article deals with regional and spatial features of the formation and spatial location, the existing system of clubs 20’s and 70’s. The twentieth century. Donetsk, which allows to identify the achieved security at 1tys. residents club and spectator places in each of the nine regions of Donetsk and the laws governing the functioning of clubs. Stages of organization of cultural activities of the population, the period chronologically developed in accordance with the main stages of the architecture of the buildings club type. Architectural identity was formed in the aspect of identity epoch of national identity, the author identity. In architectural and artistic decisions club a 20th–70th. The twentieth century pronounced historical architectural tradition: historical and architectural professional experience and the experience of folk architecture and requirements ideology of the period. The main characteristics of the regional approach, which influenced the typology of the network, its capacity were: climatic conditions, socio-economic, demographic, cultural, and urban conditions. Determines the relevance of the work to find ways of intensification, the current city club network, its development through a system of cultural values, taking into account regional and national identity.
