Abstract: The existing problematic issues in the field of optimization of typical buildings today are almost unknown. The objectives of social and economic nature and savings under renovation are not sufficiently substantiated. Thus, the question of actual of potential architectural and typological approach to the optimization of typical buildings and structures that are involved and can participate in the reconstruction process. The authors of the article have considered global issues on the most effective approaches to optimize the standard of buildings and structures that are in need of renovation, especially the complex. Additionally, the paper presents an algorithm of a process inspection of buildings and structures typical destination, taking into account the survey area where the objects are placed and to determine optimal solutions for the reconstruction of buildings and structures. The main approaches that can be used for architectural and typological model of optimization of buildings and structures on the territory of Donbas have been formulated and classified in logical sequence.
