A technological constituent in the rehabilitation environment concept: methodological aspects

The Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article is devoted to the methodological problems of planning a rehabilitation environment. On the basis of considering different rehabilitation technologies, some theoretical propositions are formulated about the structure of this environment. The proposals are given about the research of the rehabilitation environment as a system of close interaction of three main components: technological, functional-planning and constructive-technical. Some recommendations and methodical ways are given about the structure of a detailed multi-level classification of the rehabilitation technologies for invalids of different medical categories: for people with psychical and sensory disorders as well as for physically handicapped people who move on chair-carriages or with auxiliary supports and devices.
Key words: rehabilitation environment, technological constituent, directions and levels of classification, main groups of factors, regional aspects.

Setting of norms of high-rise building progressive damage protection under combined special influences

Moscow state Build University
Abstract. There is shown a necessity of accounting and setting norms of a high-rise building fire safety under a variety of special, including combined special, influences which can result in a progressive damage of these unique objects. There are grounded and formulated proposals as to setting norms of fire safety of high-rise buildings in part Introductions of a «Special class of functional fire hazard»; a special block of measures of high-rise buildings progressive protection as a base unit of the whole system of fire protection of these objects. A general approach and engineering method of estimating a building stability is offered against a progressive damage under combined special influences. A program system is developed to analyze damages and risks of an emergency situation in a city surroundings on the basis of the «virtual reality» technology.

Formation features and physical-mechanical properties of a refractory alkaline silica-alumina and magnesian binder stone on the basis of soluble silicates and sodium aluminate

The Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. An effect of heating an alkaline silica-alumina and magnesia binder stone on the basis of soluble silicates and sodium aluminate at 110-1400 о C on strength, linear thermal movement, electric conductivity, and open porosity is studied. It was fixed, that a “dangerous”, from the point of view of product dehydration and softening, temperature range 600-1000 о С is simultaneously a potentially reaction-favorable one not only for alkaline alumino-silicates formation, but for the replacement of the relaxed and deformed bonds Na-O-Si by stronger ones, for example Mg-O-Si-. Introduction of the corresponding refractory fillers, especially amorphous ones, into alkaline binders promotes the ordering of the structure of alkaline alumino-silicate and alkaline and alkaline-earth silicates, and it enables the formation of a ceramic bond at the expense of more refractory phase crystallization.

An influence of a High-Voltage Electrostatic Treatment on Pozzolanic Activity of Fly Ash and Properties of Cement – Fly Ash Pastes

The Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. An influence of a high-voltage electrostatic treatment on pozzolanic activity of fly ash and properties of fly ash-cement pastes is considered. An electro-physically activated fly-ash powder is characterized by a higher hydration and pozzolanic activity. This affects the rheology of cement fly-ash pastes, fly-ash particles playing the role of a plasticizing agent in the system. The higher degree of fly-ash hydration, the higher degree of cement hydration, that provides an increase of ash-cement paste compressive strength. A retrofitting of adhesive contacts on the boundary of cement paste–mineral additive (electro-heterogeneous contacts) will effect the formation of a more homogeneous and dense microstructure of a cement paste and concrete.

Assembly Technique for a Metallic Tower Cooling Stack

The Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. There are considered some questions of the analysis of a constructive solution and assembly technique of carrying structures of metallic tower cooling stacks. A constructive solution being analyzed, an attention is paid to the design of a cooling stack carrying skeleton and structure. An attention is also paid to the influence of technological and climatic conditions of a cooling stack operation on decision-making as to tower design. Probable methods of assembling tower metal structures and coverings can be an assembly technique with the use of various types of assembly mechanisms (a track-type boom crane outside a cooling stack contour, a tower crane inside a cooling stack contour, a tower crane outside a cooling stack contour, a boom crane, as a tower-boom one, outside a cooling stack contour.A value engineering of the methods accepted has been done, and a rational variant of a structure assembly has been chosen. This rational variant with the boom crane in a tower-boom performance was applied when assembling a tower cooling stack at Avdeevka by-product coke plant.

Reinforcement of cast-in-situ reinforced concrete bins of a parabolic profile with steel structures

The Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture
Abstract. The article is devoted to the questions of strengthening and reconstructing load-carrying structures of loading bins built of cast-in-situ reinforced concrete, and which are partially in an emergency state, and partially in an unserviceable state. For this purpose there was used a supporting complex of steel structures in the form of a framed structure to strengthen reinforced-concrete columns, and suspension steel bands to strengthen a parabolic part of a bin easy to make strengthening of the existing reinforced concrete structures of bins without stopping manufacture. All the calculations of the supporting building structures of bins connected with the strengthening were performed by a flat design model on the computer complex “SCAD”. A post-concreting of columns and suspension bands for strengthening a bin parabolic part provides a reliable corrosion protection of steel structures.
Key words: cast-in-situ reinforced concrete loading bins, reconstruction and reinforcement, lattice steel supporting structures, guy shells, steel concrete ring of the existing columns.
