Study of the Corrosion Resistance of Self-Compacting Concrete with a Complex Additive

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. In the work, the influence of a complex additive consisting of a viscosity modifier and a superplasticizer on the resistance of self-compacting concrete to the second type of corrosion was studied. The ash and slag mixture of the Zuevskaya TPP was used as a mineral filler. It has been established that the use of an ash-and-slag mixture as a mineral filler and the introduction of a complex additive into the composition of self-compacting concretes increases their strength characteristics both in the early and later periods of hardening. In addition, the developed concrete compositions meet the requirements for changing the strength characteristics after keeping the samples in an aggressive environment. There was no incompatibility of the viscosity modifier and superplasticizer used in the composition of the complex additive, as well as its negative effect on the corrosion resistance of self-compacting concrete. Therefore, it can be recommended to use the developed concrete compositions in the production of a wide range of products and structures, which are subject to high requirements for surface quality and do not require additional processing.
Keywords: self-compacting concrete, strength, viscosity modifier, superplasticizer, ash and slag mixture, corrosion resistance, second type corrosion.

Research in the Field of Improvement and Development of Architecture of Buildings and Structures of Children’s Medical Complexes in the Conditions of Reconstruction in the Cities of Donbass

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. The article is devoted to research in the field of improvement and development of architecture of buildings and structures of children’s medical complexes in the conditions of reconstruction in the cities of Donbass. The problems of architectural, typological and functional organization of buildings and structures of the XX century that have lost their relevance due to increased moral wear of buildings and their increased operational characteristics are considered. The demand for the use of reconstructive measures to extend the life cycle of buildings and structures of medical orientation, as well as to increase the level of comfort, improve the operational characteristics of buildings of this type. Techniques and approaches based on reconstruction to improve the architectural environment of healthcare institutions are investigated. The world trends in the design of buildings of this purpose are analyzed. The scientific and practical proposals reflecting the nature of transformations in the field of improvement and development of architecture of buildings and structures of children’s medical complexes on the basis of reconstruction are formulated. The right comprehensive approach to the peculiarities in the reconstruction of buildings and structures of the medical sector will transform the existing space into an advanced, high-tech and hospitable, capable of meeting the increasingly increasing needs of the population in the field of medical care.

Complex of Architectural and Typological Research of the Current State of Research Industry Objects Subject to Reconstruction in the Cities of Donbass

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. The most important large-scale and strategic changes of recent decades in the modern structure of development and improvement of the architecture of the research industry determine the need for a deep modernization of the functional and technological system of scientific research, as well as the architectural and typological organization of the complexes of buildings and structures of the research industry participating in the study, potentially subject to reconstruction in connection with the emerging need. Existing research institutions and their complexes have become the main centers of professional scientific competencies that determine the latest vectors of development of modern science, but for this it is necessary to create favorable conditions that are achieved through the development of the latest architectural, urban planning and functional-technological design solutions that allow fundamental and applied research to be carried out to a qualitatively new level of development in accordance with state programs of the Russian Federation implemented in the cities of Donbass, taking into account industry specifics. Based on this, the authors of the article propose, first of all, to determine a list of complex measures related to the monitoring of architectural and typological studies of buildings and structures of research institutions located in the cities of Donbass, taking into account the urban planning, architectural, typological and functional requirements for objects of such purpose, subject to reconstruction and maximum permissible modernization.

Fundamentals of Stability of a Mobile Vehicle for Transporting Goods, Taking into Account the Kinematics of an Elastic Wheel when Moving

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. The article outlines the basics of the kinematics of the elastic wheel of a mobile vehicle in stability problems. We consider the kinematics of an elastic wheel, which is equipped with elastic tires and is rigidly mounted on a common axis, with which it rotates freely in traction bearings at a certain angular velocity and rolls along the plane. The rod moves at a given speed in a straight line and its distance from the horizontal plane is constant. Due to the compliance of the wheel tires, the wheel axis rotates relative to the longitudinal axis, coinciding with the direction of the traction axis, and rotates at an angle around the wheel axis, which, in turn, forces the wheel to rotate as a whole around a vertical axis. The relationships obtained from the calculation scheme and the above-described physical process made it possible to obtain functional relationships between the kinematic parameters of a moving elastic wheel, which form the basis of the system of Lagrange or Euler equations for solving problems of motion stability that are important for practice.

Influence of Parameters of the Electrohydraulic Distribution Method on the Efficiency of Deformation and Changes in the Physical Properties of Piston Pins of Internal Combustion Engines

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. Currently, the use of a high-energy method of plastic deformation of metal using the energy of a high-voltage pulsed discharge in a liquid has been developed (the electrohydraulic effect), and on its basis electrohydraulic processing. The article describes a method for restoring piston pins of internal combustion engines through the use of an electro-hydraulic distribution method. The degree of influence of the electrical parameters of this process on the amount of deformation of the piston pins is determined depending on the product material used. The optimal recovery technology was selected and the optimal parameters of the electrohydraulic distribution process were determined.Technical requirements for the restoration of piston pins have been developed. A technological unit for distributing piston pins has been designed. The main technical characteristics of the parameters of the electric discharge device of the installation have been determined. The calculation method was used to determine the modes and parameters of the process of electrohydraulic expansion of piston pins while maintaining their fatigue life, static strength and wear resistance.

Investigation of Heat-Resistant Foam Concrete Based on Alumina Cements

FSBEI HE «Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture»
Abstract. The paper presents the results of a study of the effect of additives of ground chamotte and technical alumina from the mass of a mixture with alumina and high-alumina cement on the heat-resistant properties of foam concrete P400–P800. The influence of the content of finely ground additives on the physical and mechanical properties of heat-resistant cellular concrete compositions was revealed: strength at normal temperature, after drying and firing at a temperature of 800 °C, average density, mass loss and linear shrinkage of foam concrete. It was found that finely ground chamotte and alumina, reducing the initial strength of foam concrete based on alumina and high alumina cements in an acceptable range, significantly increases its strength after firing at a temperature of 800 °C. Additives of chamotte and alumina to alumina cements reduce shrinkage, reduce the average density and increase the porosity of the binder matrix, which favorably affects the heat-protective properties of light concretes based on them.
Keywords: alumina cement, heat-resistant concrete, linear shrinkage, chamotte, alumina, roasting.
